Welcome back to Hops & Gnarly! Today I’m brewing an English Barleywine on my 7.5 gallon Brewer’s Edge Mash and Boil. For this 3 gallon batch I’m using almost 12 pounds of grain which should push me to just over 9% ABV. I’ll be honest, this is far from my favorite style but it’s going to help me with a long term project that we’ll get into later on.
Also (spoiler alert) I’m walking through the steps I took to build a new home brewery.
Now, let’s make some beer!
